Pianpicollo Selvatico is a farm built in 1811 in Alta Langa, a rural area in the northern Italian region of Piemonte. Its name means literally “Little Wild Plain” (Piccolo Piano Selvatico) and it originates from its location within a small high plain surrounded by wilderness.

Pianpicollo Selvatico is a home for research.

It offers space and time to explore and experience the creative potential of human beings in relation with their surroundings, living and non living beings.

It encourages art making, scientific and philosophical investigations as enlivening and transformative processes.

It promotes all forms of diversity, cultural and ecological.

It is a collective experiment about the endless possibilities of a creative dialogue with nature. At the roots of what it is to be human.
